Six arbitres algériens ont été retenus pour participer à un stage de préparation en vue de la phase finale de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations (CAN) 2025, prévue au Maroc du 21 décembre au 18 janvier, a annoncé la Confédération africaine de football (CAF).
Les arbitres concernés sont Mustapha Ghorbal et Youcef Gamouh, qui officieront comme directeurs de jeu, ainsi qu’Akram Zerhouni Abbes, Mokrane Gourari et Adel Abane, désignés comme arbitres assistants. Lahlou Benbraham, pour sa part, a été sélectionné dans la catégorie des arbitres en charge de l’assistance vidéo (VAR).
Au total, la commission des arbitres de l’instance africaine a retenu 33 directeurs de jeu, 36 arbitres assistants et 11 arbitres pour la VAR. Ils seront encadrés lors du stage de préparation par huit instructeurs et un staff de la CAF composé de cinq membres.
